Ingredients
9 oz sugar
9 oz self-rising flour
9 oz butter
3 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
zest of 1 orange
Frosting:
4 egg whites
Juice of 1 orange
1 tsp orange food coloring
zest of 1 orange
7 oz superfine sugar
Directions
Preheat the Air fryer to 160 F and place all cake ingredients, in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer. Transfer half of the batter into a prepared cake pan; bake for 15 minutes. Repeat the process for the other half of the batter.
Meanwhile, prepare the frosting by beating all frosting ingredients together. Spread the frosting mixture on top of one cake. Top with the other cake.
